大分国体、浦添商業の試合は雨で中止。大会も打ち切りに･･･

　第63回国民体育大会（大分国体）

　2008年･浦添商ナイン、高校野球全公式戦を終える･･･

　1日雨で順延となった第63回国民体育大会（大分国体）の高校野球・硬式野球の部・2日
目は、翌9月30日も雨のため、予定の2回戦全4試合のうち「浦添商業（沖縄）- 報徳学園
（兵庫）」など2試合が中止､残りの2試合が翌10月1日へ順延となりました。そして準決勝
・決勝を行わずに競技を打ち切る事が決まったため､ 4強が決まらない今大会は表彰規定
に該当せず、国体史上初めて表彰式を行わない事になりました。
　なお本日行われた 2回戦2試合では、横浜が大阪桐蔭に10-3､鹿児島実業が金沢に
9-3で、それぞれ勝利しました。（横浜・大阪桐蔭・鹿児島実業・金沢は、1回戦不戦勝。）

　多くの感動と喜びを我々に与えてくれた2008年・浦添商ナインは、今国体1回戦の常葉
菊川戦を最後に､高校野球の全公式戦を終えました。彼らのプレーの一つ一つを思い起こ
せば淋しさも募ります。とりあえず今は体を休めて、それから新たな夢に向かって全力で走
って欲しいと願います。2008年･浦商ナイン､夢をありがとう。そしてこれからもチバリヨー！
